Home assessment and installation
We walk through your house, find the risk points and install the sensors. A local plumber fits the automatic shut-off valve. At the end we test everything together with you or your agent.

Sensors around the clock
A sensor at every water point, plus humidity, temperature and doors. The hub runs on 4G with a backup battery, so it works without Wi-Fi and during power cuts. If there's a leak, the water is shut off in seconds.

Visits and a monthly report
Every two weeks or every week we come by: air the rooms, run the taps, check the pool and garden. Once a month you get a report with photos of every room and humidity charts.
One night in February
A sensor detects water under the boiler.
The valve shuts off the mains water in seconds.
You get a WhatsApp: “Leak under control, we'll be there in the morning.”
We're in the house, drying up, taking photos and calling the plumber.

Sa Guarda is not a security company or a burglar alarm. We monitor the technical side of your home: water, humidity, temperature and power. For intruder protection we're happy to recommend a licensed security company. And we never install cameras inside your house.

Questions
Do I need Wi-Fi in the house?
No. The hub has its own 4G connection and a backup battery. It keeps working during power cuts.
What happens if an alarm goes off at night?
If there's a leak, the valve shuts off the water immediately and both you and we are notified. Then we come by as soon as possible, dry up, take photos and call a plumber if needed.
Who holds my keys?
Your keys are stored coded, with no address attached. Every visit is logged with time and photos.
Are there cameras?
No. We don't install cameras in the house. Our sensors only measure water, humidity, temperature, power and whether doors are open or closed.
Can I check on my house any time?
Yes, through an app on your phone, and on WhatsApp you always reach a person.
Do I need to be there for the installation?
No. Your agent or manager can let us in. We do the final test with them, and you get everything with photos.
What if something needs repairing?
We coordinate local plumbers, electricians and locksmiths, send you the quote first and photos afterwards.
